Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO victory in the 2nd round. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
